if youre going to upgrade look into any of the fiber based providers.

This, which for Internet, Verizon has 'Fios', and AT&T has 'U-verse'(Tv, internet, and home phone)

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

Direct and dish are just tv providers. Anything DSL (att, charter, Comcast, etc) are using copper line(same line that everyone in your neighborhood are using, which slows done your internet speed around the evening and weekends, ONLY if a lot of your neighbors are using the internet at the same time) compare to fiber optic (uverse and Fios) have their own didecated line and no one in your area will affect your internet speed.
