b-dubs89 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 my first blow sub was in my home stereo , i had this massive yamaha dual 10" passive sub beat the piss out of it for 3-4 years with a pioneer receiver , then used my friends sony receiver at a party and after it was all done 1 sub would trigger protection . car audio wise i had an infinity basslink that the amp shit out on , and i wall socketed the 10 out of that , it took better than i thought considering the basslinks amp was rated 200 rms , i think got about a minutes worth of burps out it before it was done . otherwise never blown a car sub yet , have made a few smell bad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nothing wrong with them then and I pounded on them for at least 6 or 7 years. Then I got a cheap LOC to set 'em up in my Impala... poor fuckers got clipping signal from hell for a long time. I could smell tons of stinky coil from the SEALED box they were in. Guy on CL made me an offer of $60 after hearing them still puttin the beat down.
