Like if runing the alt on 16 volt system is to much stress on it compared to 14v or 12v daily. Higher voltage equals greater efficiency easier on ur amps to run higher but sometimes the cars wont like it my car hated charging at 18v it would randomly turn everything off and back on but god damn having my windows finally go up fast sure was nice! HunterJohnson Posted April 15, 2012 Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 I have not played with that battery but can say im the astro van i have 2 kinetik 16volt batteries per 5.0 and a 400 amp mechman.
