csill420 Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 what up smd. time to upgrade my alt I've been looking around and i can get a damn nice deal on this alt http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PWM-48202 cheek out my system in my sig. pretty much I'm wandering if this alt will power my setup. i no theres mechman, dc, all those other brands but like i see i can get this for a good price! so lets here some opinions, I'm thinking about picking it up this week if it is powerful enough! thanks Connor.. Smoove Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 I bought that same Alt in 2003 and it worked great until 2011 when the voltage regulator went out. They remanned it for me for $80 (2 1/2 week turn around). So I am gonna say great Alt. It's back in my truck with the big 3 done.
