BassMunky
Gonna get that amp would that be too much power underpwoer for my 2 12 Chaos subs? Or get a bigger amp? This is a daily driver. What would be the biggest amp i could run to those subs? Also is it bad if I run a xs800 battey to my diehard platinum battery? runner800
AA chaos are 800 rms each so 1600 total the t1500 births above 1700 at 1 ohm usually so its a good amp for those woofers, also I don't worry much about mixing battery brands. As far as the biggest amp? Probably a good idea to stay under 2k rms watts or those woofers could have a hard time with the power.
BassMunky
the rockford prob be the best bet right with a extra battery running?? the thing with battery is people say dont mix with gel and wet battery? so will it be ok with a diehard platinume group 34 and a xs800 in the back? runner800
I would say as long as the bats are both 12volt your fine, and I think the Rockford will do plenty of power the cp series is great.
falcons03079313
I ran Rockford amps for two years and I gotta say they work great in any set up. If you are really concerned just keep the gains down. But I don't think you will have any problems
notorious97200
Get a bigger battery in the back. The RF 1500 is a very good amp. But you can find cheaper ones, like the Sundown saz 1500, or even the DC 2000 or something. the market is full of 1500 w amps ! Don't focus on amp power, the box is really more important. A sub doesn't need its full rms to be loud, or to please you ! Quote black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
runner800
The t1500 probably has the best build quality of all those amps
