Dax Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I was wondering what best sounding 18's are, not trying to be a versus thread, just wondering where to start looking for some good sounding 18's The Midget Looks Into Your Soul 2008 Dodge am 3500HD with the 6.7 Cummins Race Me tuner, dpf deleted kenwood double din cheap walmart speakers for now(infinity reference comps comps coming soon) 2 kicker L5's in a ported box of unknown tuning lol(soon to be changed) Power acoustic 1500.1 on the subs (for now)

412 CVX Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 i personally think a lot of how a subwoofer sounds comes down to how the enclosure is built. never built one myself, but from what i hear 4th orders sound pretty damned good. i guess to me, if you're comparing two similar subs, say a DC against a Fi woofer, there's not gonna be a whole lot of difference. to my somewhat virgin ears it's all just bass to me Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
