Let me open up Torres and try putting in something for OP and maybe explain the calculator with what I know did i do the rest of it right ? Yeah the rest of it looks pretty good, and I wasn't hating on you or anything man! No i know its all good thanks for catching me. and OP, i have used aero ports before and am currently using them . I think once you get the right length and everything i like em. still need to compare them to a sloted box with same setup to do fair justification but i would do what you want. my next build i will switch it up. Sergeant_Skyrim Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Another thing you've gotta worry about is the port width in comparison to the port height. 1.8 width is wayyy too small in comparison to the 28.5 height, you'll be getting a ton of port noise. I don't remember what a maximum ratio for that would be, but my guess would be somewhere around not wanting to exceed 6:1 in terms of port height:width Quote Build in progress

I'd like to see what you're talking about with the port on the bottom and going wide instead of tall as I don't fully understand what you mean. I just looked back at it and it seems right for the most part I believe, except for the common port walls area. If you've got the port sitting up there like that, then there won't be any common walls at all Quote Build in progress
