BURRITO
Unfortunately, I can't answer this as I have to use extreme heavy duty pads due to towing, so I stick with factory pads. B....do you guys deal with brakes? You might have a bigger knowledge on available brands..sorry yeah! i recently put some Power Slot Cryogenic rotors and ceramic pads on the Ram, but i couldnt get the damn brakes hot enough to stop the truck when i had a load.... i changed the pads out with some cheap ass white box semi metallic pads and now they work fine. and like you already said Kev, if you aint racing on a road course that shit is really over kill!!! mrrairai
Just a quick update. I decided to go with some Brembo slotted rotors front and back and some Hawk LTS pads and this thing stops on a dime. I spend $630 total from Tire Rack. I just couldn't see spending 3Grand plus for some kit that's over kill and really good for looks!!!! sully
When i bagged my f150 the brake booster got in the way when it was layed out so i junked it and put on a hydroboost that runs of the power steering pump. The truck will stop on a dime, infact i had to get used to how well it stopped cause it is almost too much and that is with the original brake pads and rotors that ford installed when the truck was new (30k miles ago). Easily under a grand and the same effect as a big brake kit. Got it from Vanco Brakes all i had to buy was a couple high pressure hoses from autozone and it was done. 2003 Ford F-150 Reg Cab layin body on 26's 2003 Tahoe 3/5 drop on 26's with a 408cid Supercharged engine. 2011 Camaro 2SS 2005 VW GTI Stage II ECU, CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, lowered 2" on some plastidipped 18's 2003 Hayabusa lowered, stretched, cams, nitrous and custom paint
