tejarillo Posted January 21, 2012 Report Share Posted January 21, 2012 i need help with a box Im making any input is greatly appreciated. the box is 22 inches high by 40 inches wide and 20 inches in depth L port or port with a 3 common wall port 29 inches long by 4 inches wide tuned to approximately to 32 hz with a double baffle to make the subs flush to the box baffles 2 pieces 34 1/2 x 20 1/2 sides of the box 2 pieces 20 1/2 x 18 1/2 top and bottom 40 x 20 back 40 x 20 1/2 port part 1 20 1/2 x 13 3/4 port part that vends 20 1/2 x 16 the cut sheet i came up with is this if anyone with more experience can lead me in the right track or tell me if my calculation are right thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

External Enclosure Parts: Front = 35 1/4 x 20 1/2 Front Internal = 34 1/2 x 20 1/2 Back = 40 x 20 1/2 Left & Right Sides: Side 1 = 18 1/2 x 20 1/2 Side 2 = 17 3/4 x 20 1/2 Top & Bottom = 40 x 20 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 14 1/2 x 20 1/2 Extension = 3 x 20 1/2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Joe X Posted January 21, 2012 Report Share Posted January 21, 2012 You picked a lower than recommended tuning (of 35Hz) and that's good for rap and the likes but maybe not so much for rock type of music.
