Rd Alpha Max
I am trying to make a box design for my friend's Nightshade and this is what i have. He wants it tuned low so it is tuned to 30hz. Do you think a 2" port is too small for it? Joe X
With a driver displacement of 0.15 (estimanted) cubic feet and dismissing your bracing which you don't provide measurements this would work: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 30,012 Hz Vb = 1,979 ft^3 Subwoofer Mounting = Front Mounted External Height = 15 in External Width = 31 in External Depth = 14 in Port Width = 2 in L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 Extension = 22 1/2 x 13 1/2 If you let me know the missing information I could get more accurate. Two inch port width can work.

Rd Alpha Max
do you think the 2 inch port is big enough? 412 CVX
yeah it should work alright. depending on how long it is, it should give you around 14-16 square inches of port per cube. i would, however, add a second baffle to this. it's a heavy ass subs and it's gonna be moving a lot. single baffle will be flimsey.
