Exploader1 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 i was wondering if anyone could help me im having a drainage issue i have a hifonics 2000d and i did the big 3 got a capacitor and my volt meter still drained so i just recently baught a kinetik hc2000 battery, its good when im driving but when i stop my volt meter drops. i was wondering what else i have to do to prevent this? https://www.youtube.com/user/bosko612?feature=mhee check out and subscribe

Guest Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 take the capacitor out regardless. but yeah if you want to hold voltage while driving or idling (which i dont suggest you keep doing if you have a stock alt unless you want to risk blowing shit up if the voltage drops enough) then get a bigger alt. companies to look at are mechman and singer. there are others but yeah
