teamace24 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 I tuned this headunit to the amplifiers like at volume 24 but i was wondering what is the maximum unclipped level of this headunit if any one knew by chance? I think the max is 32 but i want to know what is the highest i could go so i can retune the amps. Also i have everything to flat but my subwoofer level control should be at 15/15 then set my bass amp right? because my bass dissapears if i lower it but just want some good input. One distorted at 27 the other at 26. So best thing to do is get a dd-1 or scope and test it. I got help on my pioneer double din here last week so can you double check if this headunit doesnt clip at max? Or do you know any one that does so i can know how high i can go with it without clipping? Yeah thats where i set the bass amplifier at 24, but i only had the sub level at 12/15 so i dunno if i should go 15/15 then retune the amp, but if its higher than 24 i could set it with the volume higher like say 35/35. I don't go passed 23 on mine. When you say distorted did you test it with the stock speakers hooked up to the headunit or is that distorted signal you hear is from running it with your external amp? I like to first hear speakers connected to the headunit then turn it up the highest i can go without it distorting which in my pioneer was 60/62, so im hoping someone has done that for me on the cda 105.
