Shibby
When my dad, ya my dad, did his full size chevy it cost us like $3000 to get it done. I just priced a top of the line system that I was going to try to put on myself and the parts came to about $1500, that was with the best I could find. The price will go down alot if you just want a starter system. Labor is what is going to kill you.
meade916
exactly....the parts can be had for $800 - $1500 (add another grand if you get airride technologies top of the line setup). Labor kills because every car is custom and unique. Your lookin at $4000 - $5000 out the door installed in most cases.....maybe more depending on the mods it took to get them in. goopster
well i didint really mean trikc i kinda meant that the average joe would assume that it costs roughly triple the price of the gear to get it install lol, and yea i am really thinking about doing it
sinwagon
Anything automotive is costly when it comes to labor. Unfortunatly, the Wizards at GM didn't want anyone to bag their NEW mini truck so they changed the front suspension to a strut style. It is possible to bag that truck using a shockwave style bag but it won't lay the truck out. The best way to lay that thing is to use an S-10 front clip. The rear is easy, but does require a bit of welding.
