You'll be investing a lot of money as well as adding A LOT of weight to the vehicle. You're losing your ability to use your rear view mirror. I'd put it off for a little while and try to show him that you really have a passion for this sport so he may not think that you're just jumping into something that is going to impair your vehicle so much. lol Last vehicle.
