Setting amp gain using dmm

I read a thread on how to set amp gain with a dmm and it said use a 50 hz tone, but I was wondering can I use a lower tone like a 33 hz. My box is tuned to 31hz.

to set the amp gain correctly you have to use a dd1 or an o scope and if you would set it with a dmm the lowest tone i would use is a 40hz tone like the ones you use with the dd1

setting your gain is not connected to your enclosure tuning at all. use the 50hz tone or the 33hz, whatever.

However, using a DMM only allows you to set the output voltage of the amp, nothing else.
