Rebel4055
You seem to not know very much about the whole situation. You go balls to the wall with equipment but not know anything about charging voltages or batteries or alternators? Not trying to sound like a ass but just putting that out there. And this is like your 4th thread about this? It's been answered probably dozens of times? What happened to the XS power battery you had? Rebel4055
Everyones gotta start somwhere.... Completly understand that. But he made 3 threads on this and has been answered. Just seems like something weird. Quote Rest In Peace mother. C-Fizzy
Well at 1 ohm that AQ pulls 380 amps, .5 I'd say you're pulling close to 500 amps. Get another battery in the back and replace those optimas with some good sealed agm batts. Then just keep an eye on your voltage. buju2003tt
i never ran an aq at.5 ohm before and i never had an alternator with this much amperage and charges at 14.8 volts ,i just dont wanna blow the amp so im being carefull thanks for the help u guys giving i really appreciate it i plan on running 2 aq 3500.1 but as i said for couple of weeks i wanna run the one that i got at .5 ohm just being carefull people thanks keep the information coming
C-Fizzy
Just dont let your amp drop below 12.5 especially at .5 ohm. Lower resistance equals more heat which equals more stress on the amp. You'll need a couple more batteries if you wanna run 2 aq's Quote under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? buju2003tt
yes i plan on running 2 100 ah batteries per amp when i get the next aq plus another 2 batteries for mids and highs. the reason i asked about the 14.8 voltage alternator is because my car is a 94 toyota corolla and i really dont want to burn up my brain box or other stuff
Rebel4055
It will be fine. Quote Rest In Peace mother. January 22, 1955 - February 14, 2013 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/user/35351-megrch/

AMI CUSTOMS
Lowest working voltage is 9.5 then it will protect or blow. Lowest I would go is 10.5 on a burp, on daily I would try to stay above 12.0, but with the electrical you mentioned it should stay at or above 12.9-13.0 volts no problem. And that amp can safely run daily as high as 16.8, your batts at safe up to 15.0 so everything looks great. And YES I have daily this amp at .5 ohm and lower, actually down to .25 ohm. Even the AQ demo scion with the two hdc4 12s, off one aq3500d.1, they run it at .25 ohm daily.
