Well I was out looking at tweeter locations and I noticed a slight hum coming from my trunk. As I looked around I noticed that the,build it fan on the amp was still running. The car was off, the amp was off, but somehow the exhaust fan and input fan on the amp were still operating. Anyone have an idea of why this would happen? I dont want it to run down my battery. Skullz Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 You may have inadvertently wired to a non-switching 12v power supply, just find a switched wire you can use so they turn on and off with the key in the ignition. Blue Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 How long does it stay on for? It could be a thing where the fans stay on after the amp turns off to get it to a safe temperature. The fans will stay on until it gets to a set temperature then they will turn off.
