Audio-Concepts
As you know I have a Tru Technology H1 Hammer. Well I was out looking at tweeter locations and I noticed a slight hum coming from my trunk. As I looked around I noticed that the, build it fan on the amp was still running. The car was off, the amp was off, but somehow the exhaust fan and input fan on the amp were still operating. Anyone have an idea of why this would happen? I dont want it to run down my battery. Skullz
You may have inadvertently wired to a non-switching 12v power supply, just find a switched wire you can use so they turn on and off with the key in the ignition. Skullz
Your using the remote wire to power the fans or are you using it to switch a relay with? Quote 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
Audio-Concepts
The fans are built in to the amp! Skullz
A possibility is a stray power wire touching the remote and keeping it powered. Quote 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
Audio-Concepts
if youre talking external power, I am using input adapters for 1/0 to 4 gauge. Im thinking its an internal issue, but really dont want to open it up! Skullz
only way to know if it is a remote issue would be to remove it first and make sure the amp is powering down or not before pulling and taking it in. Blue
How long does it stay on for? It could be a thing where the fans stay on after the amp turns off to get it to a safe temperature. The fans will stay on until it gets to a set temperature then they will turn off.
