CHEVY4X4BLAZER Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Hi SMD. I ordered a PAC LC-1 so I would have more control over my sub. The minor obstacle I'm having is that my HU only has 1 pre amp output. Current wire configuration is HU --rca splitters --MB QUART 4CH then my sub amp, a ZX 1000.1. Daisy chained. The solution I've come to would be to strip the ends of the LC-1 and extend them to the mb quart output and the ZX input. I will use a new RCA cable that i will cut to length. I favor this option as I would not have to spend any more money. .let me know what ya think. Quote
OrionStang Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Run an rca from the 4 channel up to the lc-1, then another rca all the back to your sub amp. So basically, you run 2 sets of rcas for the lc-1 and sub amp. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
CHEVY4X4BLAZER Posted February 2, 2012 Author Report Posted February 2, 2012 Thanks Ken. I was over thinking. Quote
Robert8252 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Or just get two y splitters. Run them off the head unit. One left and right to the lc1 and the other to the 4ch Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
