ShaneBond
ok so i just got my whole new system installed 4 audioque hdc2.5 12's with an audiopipe 3000d. with my old system just 2 12's and the audiopipe 1800 my car lights would dim and my volt meter would drop. i have it wired like this front batter, fuse, back battery, then plugged into the amp. the ground for the amp goes from amp, to battery, to chasy ground. when i got the 3000d installed there was no voltage drop at all. it played amazing for around 15 minutes. then, it would start cutting off when i turned it up.... any help? please and thank you. Rebel4055
So you upgraded in power and are wondering why your stuff shuts off? Lol. Take a picture of the ground location you choose and how did you gain the amp? By ear? Max? Guessing? Quote Rest In Peace mother. mathewdylang
if its a blazer there are some large bolts under the rear seat that expose a lot of bare metal. i have my rear battery grounded there. takes about 3 foot if your battery is in the little recession after the wheel well in the back. ShaneBond
heres a pic of the box and everything. you can see the ground cable goes to some hook thingy under the box.
