White Lightning
2 6.5s might be alot of weight for those doors ... time you make all the door modifications to accomidate 2 drivers per door ... don't know for sure, But I've seen those doors sag before ... again, just my opinion here ... might look at one 8 per door ... neuspeedescort
it is a budget minded build so i have the CS series components. he wasn't wanting to drop change on the germans and i'm a DD dealer. they are a slim mount design and are not super heavy with pretty nice output. just i know the 2 8's in the hatch is going to cabin gain like crazy and i have never run a pair of 8's off 1k either. so its a real cluster. but the outcome will be great. this i know! mlstrass
and just how did you come to that conclusion??? And for getting loud I think 6.5's are a waste of $$$, that's why I run 12's in my doors I'm not responding to this ... Total bullshit post here ... No usefull information to help out the threadstarter in any way ... can't back up your bullshit statement
mlstrass
Those doors should not have a problem with 2 sets of 6.5's. If the doors are sagging replace the pins/bushings. But if you already have the 5.25's then by all means use them....
