the1uwannab Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 If they are the new tr55 then it would be a good trade each one handles 450 rms so both together 900 rms the L7 handles 600rms and the 2 12's will move more air so yeah it would be a good trade now if they are the old 5500 series the silver ones they only handle 150 rms and dont move that much so stick with the L7
412 CVX Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 uhh no. don't do it as much as i hate MTX 2 12's will move more air than a single 10", even if said 10" is square. fuck the extra 200 watts power handling. you won't hear the difference between 450 watts and 600 or whatever it was plus L7's usually sound like garbage. edit: read your post wrong. i say it's a decent trade. still not fond of MTX, but if you can trade and put less than 50 cash down, then you're good. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
