Michael Williams Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 I was wanting to know if i can hook a 800 watt kenwood to a 680 max watt wiring kit. right know i have two pioneers 12" max watt 1200 hooked up to a 300 watt jenson. But one problem im having is that they are also not hittin at the sam time. im not sure if its somthing in the head or what. im getting a new head anyways idk the brannd but its a touch screen cd/dvd. any help please? The Midget Looks Into Your Soul 2008 Dodge am 3500HD with the 6.7 Cummins Race Me tuner, dpf deleted kenwood double din cheap walmart speakers for now(infinity reference comps comps coming soon) 2 kicker L5's in a ported box of unknown tuning lol(soon to be changed) Power acoustic 1500.1 on the subs (for now)
863JOE Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Crunch some #'s. 14.4 x amps fusing= output in watts of course, you will have voltage drop, so 14.4 isn't going to be VERY accurate, but will do. 412 CVX Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 my advise: learn to spell 'advice' correctly do the above stated. give us some model numbers of the wiring kit, amps, and subs. and go by RMS rating. max and peak are imaginary numbers Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
