daniel44 Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 k so i have a 99 civic si and i have two 10 inch re audio sxx10D4 subs and i want them to be facing the back seat i will be sealing it off so no air can get into the trunk and it will be sealed with the cabin. with a port going threw the rear deck. the port would be coming up from the middle of the box into the rear deck. i kinda know how to build it but i just dont know what dimensions to do and how to get the right tuning frequency. plz help want it at around 32-35hz Quote
Joe X Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Those are specified at 1.25 cubic feet per sub so 2.5 cubic feet net internal volume is what you require. Aero ports would be the easy way to reach the rear deck. Quote
daniel44 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 does it matter at all if i go over that net volume or should i try to get 2.5? and idk if this is what im suppose to do but i wanted the ports to be like 6 inches in the box and 6 inches out. im new at this ha Quote

daniel44 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 haven't done anything to the electrical yet but ill be getting a second battery and maybe upgrade the alt if i need to. i just want hella bass but i dont wanna spend a super lot on the subs. any recommendations? Quote
One Way Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 even if that amp DID rated, ur electrical wouldnt be able to keep up with it. when i had my lil honda it struggled a lot with the electrical cuz of the small alt and battery. i suggest you to run maybe just one sub or two low level subs. if you want to run that high of a setup upgrade ur electrical. you were sayin u were gona put an extra bat? start with that and the big 3 Quote T-line build- http://www.stevemead...e-t-line-build/
