timma100
I have become extremely interested in the NS1 simply because of its efficiency, I plan to eventually run a single NSv.3 15 (when ever they are released) @ 2 or 4ohm (because NS1 @ 1ohm would nuke that NS) So, basically would this be a good idea? I would get slightly higher SQ at higher ohms and the NS1 would be more than capable of putting out the needed RMS at high ohm loads. Not to mention the awesome efficiency of that amp Edited February 12, 2012 by timma100
n8ball2013
itd be a waste of an amp even if you were to run a nightshade on it. Why buy all that power and not use it. Well I would use it for the current setup (at high ohm) but I would have a massive power plant for any future upgrades
CJ18
Do you really want to spend around $2000 on an amp and run it at 2-4ohms when you can spend closer to $5-$800 and get the same power at 1 ohm? Makes no sense to me.

Makes no sense to me. Think about it for future upgrades... i'm running a saz1500 right now, and i know il need something bigger when the NSv.3 comes out. So why not go all the way and not need to worry about it when I want to add another one... or 2 Edited February 12, 2012 by timma100
CJ18
I do understand that, but if you are going to do it, do it right. Electrical first and then big ass amp. Dont be the guy that wants to run a 7500w+ amp on stock alt and a couple of walmart batteries.

I completely agree, i'm planning for 2 XS D3400 and a mech alt
LoudBimmer
I would run NS-1 on nightshade v3 @ 1 ohm But like CJ said, electrical first

timma100
I would run NS-1 on nightshade v3 @ 1 ohm But like CJ said, electrical first you really think the v.3 could take 7K RMS?... somehow.. that feels like a bad idea
