I keep looking at this thread, very informative. Amazing craftsmanship, good job! I put the floor in mine today, was mocking up side panels with 3/4" and it wasn't working out too well... definitely going to try some thinner stuff now.

If you want 3/4" panels just do the mock up with thin stuff then transfer to 3/4

I typically go

Cardboard

1/4" mdf

Then 3/4

The 1/4" is to be able to copy to the 3/4 with a flush trim bit

Thanks for the tips. Dont want it 3/4 thats just all i had. I bought 5 mil plywood today. Just cut the piss out of my finger tho so im about to call it quits for the day. The way this cars trunk mounts are makes it so much harder than it needs to be.

Ray could you provide a link to your thread with a DIY.

I also want to know how you carpeted it if you don't mind sharing your secrets. Your work is CLEAN!

Ive done a thread about how to.

Typically i use 2way tape and small hidden L brackets. Alot of it is pressure fit though.

If you make all the panel a great fit when in the cardboard stage

Then after you carpet it they will press into place.

Real glad you like it ken.

Did the velcro trick work out?
