jonathancullen89
alright so one of my cadence are acting up, it just stopped playing. at first i thought it was the solder joint that broke like my last one, but this one is different. i took it out of my box and ohm'ed it and got nothing. hooked it back up to the amp and still nothing but when i pick up on the cone it starts playing again, then when i let go it goes back down and nothing. when i ohm'ed it there was nothing while the cone was down but when i picked it up the numbers jumped all over the place. any idea what goin on, ive never had this happen to me. im kinda pissed and hope it is an easy fix because i was going to sell them to my brothers friend to buy my FI Q. 1992 cavalier build 1992 blazer s10 kenwood cd hifonics hfi2500d 6 soon to be 12 12" hifonics hfi12d4's shit ton-o-wire Blurred Vision Audio Team SMD feedback/refs. clicky!-

MickyMcD
It sounds to me like a broken tinsel lead or lead/former joint. It would appear that your woofer has a dry joint, and moving the cone allows the dry joint to contact and form a circuit. Sounds like it needs a recone, repair or a warranty job if applicable.
