mounting batteries in bed

will i have any problem with my batteries being mounted directly onto the bed using angle iron as the frame and mounted directly to the bed? could it discharge the battery like if the battery would be left on the concrete? since my whole truck lays frame/body onto the ground would there be a problem?

if it would matter in the bed, it would matter under the hood. you plan on keeping them covered?

Yeah... I made a tonneau cover for my bed so it'll be covered

I have 4 in my bed in a frame made out or angle iron held down with a piece of square tubing across all of them. They are doing fine, but some sort of rubber wouldn't hurt on the bottom of the angle iron and maybe on the square tubing. I dont have any, but plan on adding some.

I actually had them mounted onto in the bed that way before BUT for some reason my yellow top batteries used drain... That was only with a 2k amp. I didn't have a battery up front and had the big 3 done... The only thing that I think may have been draining was either the batteries directly mounted onto the bed OR having a fuse and circuit breaker that was connected?.. The reason with that was cause I used the fuse block to power my fuse box, alternator, starter.... I ran it like this... Alt - fuse block(75amp fuse) - 0 awg to bed - 250 amp circuit breaker - batteries.
