OG BudBone
A few weeks ago I decided on installing a new head unit in my 97 trans am and now when I lock both doors like normal the alarm goes off, so I cant lock my doors :/ I got close to the right wiring harness except there isn't anywhere for stock monsoon amp("premium stock")wires to go. I don't think this is the problem though. Sorry I'm a complete noob when it comes to alarms and such and sorry if this is in the wrong section but any help would be nice 1997 Trans Am WS6 Pioneer DEH-P5200HD 2 DC Level 4 M2 12s 4 cubes tuned to about 34hz DC 3.5k 1/0 Welding Supply Ultra Flex Stock 140A alt Stinger Fuses & Fuse Holders XS Power D5100 XS Power XP3000

OG BudBone
I'm pretty sure I wired everything right to the harness, which like I said is ALMOST the right one. What wire could it be? 1997 Trans Am WS6 Pioneer DEH-P5200HD 2 DC Level 4 M2 12s 4 cubes tuned to about 34hz DC 3.5k 1/0 Welding Supply Ultra Flex Stock 140A alt Stinger Fuses & Fuse Holders XS Power D5100 XS Power XP3000
n8ball2013
well if you set the alarm off you are somehow sending a pulse to the door trigger or the lock trigger etc. IT worked before you put a new head unit in? does it have factory anti theft? my guess is that you are tapped into the wrong wire adn when you lock the door its pulsing the factory anti theft. is it the aftermarket that goes off or the factory etc?
