OrzechNJ
my singer alt is shooting down when im slowing down sometimes...... I emailed mike about it and he said that my CPU is regulating it I dont remember now but he explained it very well and he said that I can send the alt back to him and hes gonna upgrade it and it be charging 14.9 constant.. now the voltage stays between 14.2-14.3 sometimes 14.4, To avoid the alt from shooting down i just keep my position lights on .. not a big deal.. I probably will send the alt back to him one day but im just too lazy to take the alt back out and put the stock in.. - i need my car every day .. sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over. Nikitaaa
I have a buddy (Snowdrifter) with the EXACT alt configuration as I have in my car. I bought a singer, he bought a DC power. I dropped to 12.2 just idling with the smallest possible pulley with no music playing. Just idling. Snowdrifter on the other hand has absolutely no problems at idle with a normal sized pulley and his all does 2xx amps at idle. 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw

fox_racin4
its not gunna hurt anything. my mechman was doing the same thing. your alts just not turning on, i bet if you tap the throttle itll jump right up to w/e your voltage is. its part of the issue with HO alts. some alts will charge at idle some wont. your buddys alt probly cost him twice as much as the singer alt. the CS is also SHIT at dc power. 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
