RickyFriery97 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Simple question,my (2) 18" box will have a slot port, all the way across the bottom Like this, subs up port back Should the subs be all the way forward, above the port. Or in the back above the port opening, or maybe middle? Thinking about loading issues I really don't know what would cause them witch is why Im asking, any help is appreciated! Btw, subs are DC XL M1 18"s powered by 1 RF T2500BDCP @ 1ohm. 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer
dcil Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 May be wrong, but I usually shift to the port side a little more than center. Had great results. With 18's on a 30 inch face, I'd go 4 inches from the edge
727Designs Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 I always put my subs out towards the rear of the car as far as I can on the box. Not really sure why, always have. Works well for me. -Zach-2010 Toyota TundraFull Hybrid Audio SQ 7" BDS on 37's 2000 Ford Expedition 160+ dB Green Turd -SOLD-
