Why do people bother to post if they wont listen to advice givning and goto radio shack and get a couple of capacitors for $5 instead of spending $20-30 for the same thing in case and having to pay $10+ for S&H and wait for a product to show up, when things can be fixed for 1/8 the price and 10 minutes....

Hey bud.

Did you check your grounds? Flickering can be caused by a faulty ground. If you're going off the battery, get a wire brush and clean the terminals. If not, make sure you have a solid ground to the chasis/frame. Scrape the paint off of your ground or you will not have good contact (has to be bare metal).

Hope this helps you...

Most of the causes of flickering headlights are caused by the HID's using more power then standard bulbs in the warm up stage (as someone said before). They pull too much power for the stanard headlight wiring which can cause the headlights to flicker.

All you need is a 12v relay, male/female spade connectors and a metre or two of cable.

You just need to wire up the relay like this.

85 - Ground

30 - Power directly from battery (with fuse in line)

87 - Goes to the power cable of the HID bulb

86 - Goes to your stock headlight power wire.

If you wire that up, then when you turn on your HID's instead of trying to pull too much power down the stock headlight cable and flickering as it doesn't get enough power, it will just get its power directly from the battery, giving it all the juice it needs.

This needs to be done on ANY HID kit that doesn't already have it built in.
