Miles Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Just started this box tonight. Have about 3 hours into it. Just have to put the double baffle on, cut the holes, and it's done. Guy wanted it bare. Box is 7.3 cubes with 120 sq. in. of port tuned to 37 hz. Should make some boom in the back of his Trailblazer. On to the pictures.

Miles Posted February 25, 2012 Author Report Posted February 25, 2012 Smothered in wood glue and might put resin on it. Wood glue is a lot stronger than a lot of people give it credit for. But if iy feels weak when i get off work then I'll resin it.

But if iy feels weak when i get off work then I'll resin it. Not in a kerf, fiberglass it. There's not enough contact area for the glue to have any strength in the kerf and it makes a mess. Miles Posted February 25, 2012 Author Report Posted February 25, 2012 Ok. I'll be sure to put resin in then. I havent had a problem with any of my kerfs failing but nothing like extra support. Haha. This will eventually be seeing a lot of power so might as well do it well.
