Amart88 Posted February 25, 2012 Report Share Posted February 25, 2012 Hello, I have a small issue on my hands, I am working on a new build and have done the big 3 with 1/0 gauge wire from Street Wires (local shop). Along with adding a kinetic hc1400 paralell with 1/0 gauge for everything. My question is that I needed more 1/0 wire and after searching around, I found a good deal on Audiosavings.com Cadence 1/0 Ga 17 foot spool for around 40 bucks. It says OFC in the description but after reading up on this wire from on here and around the web, alot of people were bashing the Cadence wire saying that it is actually CCA and not OFC. So should I even use this wire along with my Streetwires 1/0 ? I have one run of 1/0 from HO alt to back of car, should I add another run with this Cadence wire or just not use it at all and maybe get something else? :| I also ordered the Cadence 30 foot spool of 8awg for speaker wire, for btl 15s. Will that do the job? and are there any major issues with using different brands of 1/0 wire in the same install?
