will77530 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Share Posted February 10, 2013 PVC pipe on inside end of port gained 0.7dB I never actually ended up seeing this gain when I took it to a competition, which I thought was a bit odd. But it turns out its actually louder with pioneer subs, and a lower powered amp, so loud in fact, they gave me two trophies! id bet the box is too big try taking up some air space and put the other subs backs, just a thought Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although, apparently insurance won't cover the $100 worth of sound deadening that was in the tailgate :/ I can't afford, nor justify the cost to replace it, so, I'll see how it goes without.
