MIKE-2U Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Hello guys, finally got my system tuned up with the dd-1 and cc-1. on certain songs at idle my voltage will go as low as 11.5 NOT full volume NOT full gain. so 50% of full tilt. Sometimes driving (rpms @ 2500) it will go down to 11.9. 988216855 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 second battery or upgrade the main one ? i kept the main and added the other in the trunk. will buy a volt meter soon to keep an eye on the voltage. still need to set the gains though. its ok so far.

But with the amperage your pulling with a 2200 and the 175.4 you need more charging power. really. Start saving for a quality high output alt. 988216855 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 The 175.4 isnt installed just yet, but i am thinking about a singer alt in the coming months i been thinking about getting a stinger alt for my car too. i have the 08 g6. i still haven't got a quote. i wonder how much it cost and which ones they make.
