ok now that i have tracked down my symmetry (although the more i look at the rf 360.2 the more like ) I can do 3 way active comps.

the original rcas are split one to the symmetry one to the 100.2 on a set of passive comps.

amps are

3 sundown 100.4's

2 sundown 3000d's

1 sundown 100.2

subs are 15 inch sundown nightshade's

mid-bass's , mids and tweets are undecided

can i use the 3sixty or should i stick with the symmetry i wanna you the 3sixty. but im not grasping the output wiring on the 3sixty.2 at all.

no you would need 2 360.2 to achieve what you are asking. the sub channel doesnt let you cross high at all. you can download the software from RF and you can see the options its capable of

what meglo said......in both posts :D And Assman too (i use 2)

it'd be nice to not have to use 2 3sixty's but its no big deal really. Id like to see a 3sixty.3 or 4 or whatever though.

i asked rf tech support heres my question

"i need to hook up all 3 100.4s to the 360 for my 3 way active system. can it be done. heres a diagram"

sym.jpg

there answer

Thanks for contacting us. Yes, that would indeed work. A couple quick notes.....You won't have fader control, including myself not many people care about that anyway. For the 3Sixty to work it needs to have at least a Left and Right connected to the Front inputs, the unit will automatically give you a summed output on the center and sub if no input is present.

what does this mean? "the unit will automatically give you a summed output on the center and sub if no input is present."

if you download the software you can see for your self

3sixty.2 software download

3Sixty2_3_m.jpg

yes you wont get a front rear fader anymore since you are doing a stereo 3-way setup

but there is only 2 sets of rca and + 1 sub(y-adaptor would be used) that can be used. front channels would be Highs and rear channels would be mids and sub channel is low. the center channel is rather useless since its limited range and it wont be stereo if you use a y-adaptor, understand?

so only 3way(tweet,mid, & sub) is possible not 4way due to the limited range in the last channel.
