I wouldn't trade my piece of shit paid off 2005 Ford Taurus with 140k for it now that I think about it. Just seems like asking for trouble. It's more of a car you would have on the side to tinker with and enjoy on the weekends I guess.

Couldnt choose unless I saw it.... some old beetles can be the shit! Others can look terrible, plus if you've already paid quite a bit on the accent kinda would be just throwing money away since it could be more than the beetles worth.

The 8000 $ could be ok for one like the red one if he realy is in good condition/skilled restored. Have a look in the net and check the prices.

The actual auction´s in Germany show´s that 8 K$ is high. The older ones with the little backwindow them goes in good shape for 15 K$ and up.

And don´t forget the thirst of those car´s a Beetle can surly do 20 mpg, there are loud, diffcult to do a system in it (weak alt, no factory spaces, frontrunk).

yeah its like the second picture. the blueish bug with whitewalls. Thats exactly like it. He is selling it and wants about 3895 for it. its not cherry but its in great shape, but i am worried that something bad is going to happen shortly after i make the trade.

Why im so interested is cuz i would save 211 a month from car payment, and my insurance would be cheaper! but idk if that outweighs the facts that its an old ass car

well the rims i got now i get 20-25 mostly city and 30 highway. With the original steelies i was getting 30 city and 40 highway lol
