crw092782
My outside dimensions at 38 wide, 15 tall, 18.75 deep. I would like to tune the box in the low 30Hz range (29-33) but I have no idea how to figure in the port and tune it. I have always built sealed boxes or had someone else design the ported box for me and I built it to spec. I listen to a lot of Dubstep and Rap/hip-hop. This is my daily driver as well. The subs will be powered by a HiFonics Brutus 2100.1D. Thanks in advance for helping. crw092782
Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for. As soon as it gets warmer... I will be building this. I will probably 45 all of the corners though. Joe X
Nice, just take care with the port corner, the cross sectional area of the port must stay at least 3.5" wide, if the 45 is too big that will alter the tuning.

crw092782
Good to know. I will leave it like that then. I am going to flush mount the subs though. crw092782
Will this design have issues with the sub on the right unloading further back than on the port wall? Will I see any fault in this design? Joe X
NO, anyways, if you are going to be worried about this you can go with a dual chamber design, either shared port or separate ports, those designs though take up more internal airspace and need more port parts. crw092782
Ok thanks, I am going to just go ahead with these plans. I am just waiting for it to get a little warmer out here in Michigan and I can start building.
