I did my baffles like you recommended in the first picture on the first box i ever built and one of them came completely loose. i was only using kicker CVX's on about 600 rms rated power each with bad electrical, so each of them was only seeing maybe 400 watts at best. Decaf Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 I've built and designed tons of boxes using joex's baffle style with NO issues. Build it correct and that does not matter at all. If baffles are coming apart its from panel flex or not enough glue/clamping force when glue set. I'm using the same box I built in 2007 and its just as strong as the day it was built.
