+ZER0Hz+
so i bought a logitech dual action (or whatever its called) controller for my call of duty 2 game. Theres just one problem.... IT DOESNT WORK! apparently you cant use it with cod2. and so i did some searching! (yay! not the first time on a computer) i found out i need some program to simulate the keystrokes / mouse. My three choices: ControllerMate, USB Overdrive, and Gamepad Companion I started with the 3rd... Wow works now! except.... mouse emulation sucks, its twitchy and like moves to one spot and stays. not practical for gaming. NEXT! So i download USB Overdrive... WOW The mouse isnt twitchy, and it moves and moves and moves, doesnt stop in one place! One problem... now the mouse emulation is only on the left analog stick... messed around with it... now the mouse emulation is only on the d-pad NEXT! Final contender! Controllermate! so far i think its a good program, but it only lets me do 10 assignments, and it kind of sucks cause im not buying it... i barely have enough money for gas until payday, which i have to spend on gas... So does anyone know how to get USB Overdrive to use the right analog stick as the mouse? meade916
xbox 360 controller for windows is what i run.....it rules over any game pad ive ever used, but maybe thats because there is none of that "awkward" stage you get by using a different controller. Im used to my 360 of course so it feels pretty natural to use. On a computer though, on a FPS, i gotta use the mouse / keyboard though....... +ZER0Hz+
for me id much rather have a gamepad with the keyboard at hand for any not so used commands... gamepad speeds things up like reloading, throwing frags/smoke, etc. it saves time for things that your fingers have to reach for on a keyboard... and for call of duty, i think the way that id have it configured, im only missing like 2 commands (lean left/right) any help to my issue of USB Overdrive anyone? If not, im starting a +ZER0Hz+ needs money for ControllerMate Fund So far we've raised $0!
