i thought i would give it a shot since my bro had some lens tint left. he got the rust-oleum tint and his came out good nice and dark but he has a black truck mine is white so i wanted a little lighter. i hope its just the lighting in the spot im tinting my lights in but one coat looks really dark im scared to do more then 3. lol. i just did 1 coat and it is almost straight black. im debating on doing my reverse light to or not. well here are the pics i have so far.

I've used the spray stuff and overtime it will fade and look dull :( but i used the film stuff off ebay and it works great!! and it lets like 80% of the light through with dark stuff. so you can use smoke color on headlights and see fine :) PICS PICS PICS

EDIT: also have to keep in mind that on a darker surface as in a taillight (not a clear/chrome headlight) it will turn out alot darker!

so you gonna have three layers total overall and a single layer on just the backup light area?

yea. i saw a pic of a guy with a white f150 like mine with 4 coats of night shade over the lights with 2 over the back up light. this seems like it is darker then then night shade so im going to do 3 and then see how it looks if i dont like it ill do one more coat.
