I am in the market for some 15's, now I found the sundown e 15s D4 which handle 400 watts rms and I was thinking about getting 2 and wiring them down to 1ohm on my amp for 1200 watts rms. (Amp is a hifonics brutus 1200 1D) But then as I did some shopping I stumbled across the Fi SSD which handles 1000 watts rms D2. Now which setup would get me to or close to 145 db? Or which one would be louder in the correct box at 1200 watts rms? Are there any pros and cons on either of these subs? Or do you guys knows of any other subwoofers that will out perform both of these woofers but still cost less than $250? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
