bumonskateboard6 Posted March 9, 2012 Report Posted March 9, 2012 (edited) Slightly different technology than what's needed to accurately get a reading for bass, guns are loud but they're at much higher freqencies and can be picked up with normal mics, bass needs a pressure sensor, I saw the episode that was on last night and if I had to guess I'd say that it costs more than a Termlab and wouldn't be very good for the lower frequencies. Pretty much when it comes to bass, your radioshack one is no good for bass sadly, call around some car audio shops in your town, usually at least one will have a termlab and let you get a little time with it.
