kickass audio Posted March 10, 2012 Report Share Posted March 10, 2012 You can mount them in ANY direction even upside down AS LONG as the terminals cannot be shorted out. Most people dont like to mount them upside down because first of all its going to be hard to get to the terminals to unbolt the wire if you need to take a lead out or put one on and second if the holder for the battery fails and the battery collapses your battery will most likely short out and cause a fire.
