Thinking outside the box....Literally

I have been trying to figure out a way to achieve more cone area in my small walled mazda, so I have what I feel is an ingenious idea that in theory could work.

The wall area for my enclosure is only offering 22 cubes gross, not really enough for 4 15's or 3 18's so my idea is a ported 4th order (not really, just trying to give a visual cause I cannot draw well) with virtually no wall on the front.subs would face up and basically I would be overcompensating the port to make up for the lack of airspace. In turn still giving the subs the ability to "load up" and not risk damaging them. This box design is for 6 15" Mayhem's with 3 going across 2 rows. I think this would work because of the tight airspace in my car to begin with............... opinions?

how is 22 cubes not enough for 4 15s? only need around 17 net cubes give or take for certain woofers... i had a lot of luck with two 18's in my mazda with a drivers side port. not a huge fan on the 4th orders, they're hyped up and over played IMO.

Start out boxy, shape as you move along.

I'll be using the Mayhem 15's or something equivalent. Need about 20 cubes for subs, 2-4 cubes for port, -2-3 cubes for displacement.

so its a 4th....youll have loading issues with the front 3, thats what im getting from your shit drawing at least...dont take that personally, i couldent draw any better, but hey least you tried :rofl2:

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?
