anthonyott99 Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 After ripping all my stereo equipment out over 6 months ago , i have finally decided to re-vamp my system. I was able to order a bunch of Powerbass equipment from where i work and i am installing a single 12 inch Powerbass sub and 400 watt amp for the lows in my trunk. I was originally going to just go with a small single port mdf box for the sub but i would like to keep more trunk space so i am going to build a fiberglass box that i am going to mold into the corner of the trunk area , my question is i would like somewhere around 2.25 net volume with a single 4 inch port, but how do i figure how much volume a custom fiberglass enclosure has when it is an unusual shape like this ??

I guess you fill it with the peanuts and then put them in a box and measure the box and how full they fill the box, correct ???
