I plan on fiberglassing part of my dash soon and I wouldn't mind learning how to do it! Lol I know when I went behind the dash of my truck, it was a positioned rod that connected to the dial from inside. Kinda struck me as "How the hell is that supposed to work?!" Not sure whats going on with the one in your truck, I have never personally dealt with one like you are describing.... Completely mistaken, the rods I was talking about are in my 'Rolla, not my truck! Lol I've got every harness unhooked from the climate control so far. There were a lot of wires, but I didn't see any vacuum lines at all. The rods are connected to the backside of the dials for opening/closing vents all over the interior.
