I'm still looking for an amp for these, for i'm on a tight budget. Does anyone have a box design for these subs. its going in a 98 Jeep Cherokee. max dims are 42" wide x 25" deep and the height doesn't matter. I'm interested in sub up/port back tuned to 32hz or lower. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 41 x 22 Left & Right Sides = 20 1/2 x 16 3/4 Front & Back = 41 x 16 3/4 T Port Internal Assembly Parts: 2 x Front to Back = 18 x 16 3/4 2 x Extension = 3 1/2 x 16 3/4 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Let me know any questions. What would be the difference in sound between 3/4in MDF and 1" MDF? I kind of was looking at 1" since the guy that builds box uses 1" most of the time. Also some port optimizations. I was just thinking about how much more weight it would add. especially on the saggy Jeep springs. Bracing would seem more plausible to me. What does port optimization mean not to sound dumb?
