Got my XS Power D2400 and XP3000 from AudioSavings! Pics!

Recommended Posts

Box of the XP3000. The battery doesn't look damage with any cosmetics. I probably won't install the XP3000 until I get my DC Power 270A Alt unless you guys know it would be fine to run it now with the stock 90A Alt and with my current 1200W system.

A box within a box FTW! This one didn't have as much popcorn as the D2400 though :(

ONLY ONE PROBLEM!

I don't feel like getting a new bracket thing so I just need a longer bolt.

Well, I've just hooked up the D2400 and it is only readin 14.2 to 14.3 with the engine on. My yellow top was reading 14.5V so what's going on?

After having my car idle for 15 minutes, the voltage went from 14.3V to 13.8V with the engine on. Should I drive around town first for the battery to charge up?

how about park your car, hook it up to a CHARGER like he is suggesting? you are SUPPOSED TO charge your batts from xs power before you run them.

charging does not mean turn your car and and let your alt charge it.. it means hook it up to a slow trickle charger.

please listen to what these guys are telling you to do!

you need to charge it.

I don't have a charger at this time. I'll have to dig into that one thread regarding how people should charge batteries overnight.

I was hoping that if I get a good alternator I wouldn't have to worry about charging the batteries :(
